Just a put charging port (deans connector for plus /minus and a 8s parallel cable). Then buy a 8s charger on eBay..
I've done the same on my scoots. Works perfectly. :)

Or just fit a BMS (battery management system)

Have a look at my build here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=84487 I used a lower KV motor and 12S. I have geared 5:1 and can get 24.3mph reliably. I designed it to do 25mph so i'm pleased.

I'm not sure how you are getting on with gearing and speed but i have overcome a few problems with my build.
