I've been thinking about those low kv multi-copter motors and how they can be used for mountainboard wheels, they're just too darn expensive. This is serious cash!

Wow nice deal.. I'm surprised not many have utilized turn signals and more lights.

It's common place in RC cars.. Surprised we haven't retrofitted our builds with them actually.

I think I saw a video from Vedder using ws 2801 rgb leds with a similar brake/turn signals/headlight power directly from a vesc.

And really a board with that kind of power needs some suspension! Like one of these

So - has any of you came with any ideas onto which hub motor to choose?

I found some 10'' tire self balance scooters, unfortunately have not found where to order / buy the replacement part motors for these.. too bad.

They have nice comfy air tires, not sure about the wattage but it was around 400w as the rest i think,

can hit ~10-12mph (when on hoverboard), so not sure how fast vesc would allow them to go,

Perhaps, some of u have seen these 10in ones.. where I live hoverboards are not common yet.. so 10in would be even rarer.

these motors look decent, maybe too much kv: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Maytech-4pcs-8942-100KV-high-speed-high-torque-dc-motor-for-multicopter-and-octocopter-Free-Shipping/1630416_32711981564.html

how can the wheels be mounted on the motors?
