On/Off switch with momentary switch antispark

Hi,

I have a setup with this parts:

I wonder if i can use a simple on/off switch like this:

to turn the power on and off. I will use it together with a momentary switch that connects to the negative pole through the resistor already soldered close to the ESC.

Will this work or will the high currents make the on/off switch burn?

i dont think that switch will work, it says its only a 6Amp switch. your esc can pull 120Amps.

you can't use any switch like that for this much power.

You can either do a low tech xt keyloop with slow inrush momentary. <$10 kind of pretty

or a high tech antispark switch like vedders or diy's...alien.. $50-$60 But very pretty.

ok, so that switch could end up as a kind of fuse, I suppose.

APS has an antispark on/off switch, but seems to be out of supply.

I think I'll go for the XT90 with antispark resistors included and skip the momentary switch use.

The anti-spark XT-90 is the simplest and easiest. I did a OCD version "how-to" here.

You can also buy a push-button power switch with anti-spark directly from DIYes. Or you can build your own from components (also in my sig) - using Vedder's anti-spark pcb.
