Additional Battery for Evolve Bamboo

Hey guys,

I am thinking about getting more reach on my Evolve Bamboo Street. I dont want to take out my original battery because it is giving me around 20 miles which is fine bist sometimes just not enough.

Has anybody tried to connect additional external batteries to his evolve Board?
How would this possibly be done in the best way?

I would like it to be attachable/detachable e.g. with velcro.
Charging with external lipo charger would make things easier I guess.

Do you think its Fine to add two connectors to the battery housing which connect the internal battery in parallel to The external battery or would i Need a Switch to Change from the internal to the external battery?

I would connect it on the ESC side. Maybe @whitepony could help you with this since he has done it before. Lipo's should work well.

Did you ever get this working? I am wanting to do the same thing but dont know if I should connect it to the ESC or BMS.
