Hi Guys
I've been working on this board for several months now (in between scoots and family holidays..:))- i've been using it to develop the 3D printed housings i designed and it works really well..
specs
-Lush 42" Vandella 39" deck
Paris trucks
Seismic Speed vent 85mm wheels
APS -6374 3.2KW motor
APS- 120a ESC
APS Remote
8s 10,000mah Lipo (easily upgradelbe to 10 or 12s)
Custom 3d printed ESC housing- including Charging port (upto 12s) ,LED volt meter, XT90 Antispark kill plug
Remote controlled- Front LED eagle eyes and under board LEDS..

I started with a really nice Lush Vandella 39" deck which is a British company that make some really nice decks - with awesome graphics.. (My last task to do is to get a vinyl print of the deck graphic and cover the electronics boxes - )

then i added the the custom designed and printed ESC enclosures (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1796942- which houses the ESC, Charging port (upto 12s) ,LED volt meter, XT90 Antispark kill plug- its really quite easy to wire up ..

made the kill plug- using the 3d printed glue cap and holder- (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1799069

Then wired the volt meter and charging pots into ESC box..

its then ready to fit to the deck

The battery is made up from 2x 4S 10000 multistar Hobbyking lipos..which I have found to be a really cost effect battery and performs well..
It can be easily upgraded to a 10s or 12s as the charging port /and ESC will support this and its a simple bullet connector to swap

then i added the DC transformer and remote switch-for the LEDS

then the LED eagle eye spots- in a ABS holder and the Purple led strps wiuth rear Red strip..

The drive system is a 15mm wide belt drive which gives plenty of power using the 6374 3.2KW motor and 8S - top speed around 25mph with great low speed power and take off and smooth powerful braking..
I modified the truck hanger so the bracket sits really nicely and can be adjusted really easily

I then added a Alloy grab handle

then finally some clear grip tape- to show of the beautiful wood grain..:)

Hi Richard

Nice looking board, but then I would not expect anything else from you. :D
Nice to see a new board build from you, though your scooter builds are wicked too.
I did similar with my Lush deck, as you say, the wood grain looks so nice it is a pity to cover it with black grip tape.
Anyone buying that for the price mentioned is getting a bloody good board extremely cheaply.

nice looking board.
do you have any videos of it being ridden?

i thought that esc is for a heli, has it got a brake or just a drag brake when you let off the throttle.

Hi xadmx

I am sure Beetbocks will answer too but as I have exactly the same ESC I can say that it has good brakes. (Though admittedly not quite as smooth as a VESC)
I really like this ESC, has great punch, does not get warm and is programmable.
This ESC actually replaced a VESC on my single 6374 motor build as I was having heat issues with my VESC.
