Problem with connecting remote, esc and motor

Postby lemon » Sat Jan 28, 2017 9:03 am

Hi,

it's been a while, but I have all parts laying around and wanted to start building the thing (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=82548)

parts list:
ESC: FTV 120A Car ESC
Motor: noname 270kV brushless motor
remote: HK GT2E (not GT2B)

But I am running into some problems:

1.) esc cables are blue, orange and yellow - motors cables are red yellow & black

which should i connect? i cant find a manual for that esc.

more problems following, i am sure :(

It doesn't matter if the motor/esc is unsensored. plug the wires together. If your motor spins backwards switch any two of the wires around and it will spin forward.

the gt2e sucks you can swap the connectors over inside the remote. but your best just to get a gt2b then you can use a 3d printed case.

You should be able to unplug your receiver wire from channel 2 in you receiver and put it in channel 1.
