First time Building an electric skateboard, so I would like to know what could be changed with the list below... Here is my parts list.

(This battery doesn't have a BMS, so I will not be getting now)

My first question is with the battery: The one I chose doesn't have a BMS, so I would like to get a good battery with a BMS that will work well with the motor I get.
My second question is with the motor: should I get a 260 kv motor. I need it for semi-steep hills. If I do Imagine Ill need a different battery probably 8s.

Besides that, any modifications or tips would be appreciated
 
Personally not a big fan of the single motor mechanical kit from diyelectricskateboards. I have two of them at home and they're not a tight fit unless you squeeze something between the truck and the motor mount. Which is not something that will give me a lot of peace of mind, considering that I'm riding the thing at high speeds and considering the vibration that's involved.
So if possible, look for decent motor mounts.

Everything else looks alright. There's cheaper versions of the remote control on alibaba but they take a long time to be delivered so you might as well go with the one from dexter.
Battery pack is perfectly fine and you don't need a BMS for lipo batteries. You're gonna charge that thing with a balance charger anyway so that functions as your bms at the same time. Don't even think about charging the LiPo battery by plugging it straight to a power source, unless that power source is a balance charger that can charge the cells individually and balance them out. But the BMS is not something you have to worry about when using LiPos.
You're gonna end up setting the cutoff limits on your VESCs anyway so as soon as the cells go below a certain voltage level, it stops anyway. Nothing to worry about.

when it comes to the KV of the motor - you're most likely not gonna ride constantly at super high speed and unless you have a very stiff board, anything above 40km/h or 25mph is not gonna be comfortable at all. So don't worry about getting a motor with a high KV rating. If you wanna ride hills, go with the lower KV rating and adjust the gearing later on if you really wanna tweak it a bit.

But other than that, solid build.
