Qiewa, SAY YEAH, or something else?

Post by EwanG » Sep 17 2017 7:33am

I live about 10 miles from work. Living in South Texas there aren't too many days when rain (or snow or...) are an issue. So I have been considering getting an inexpensive EV for the daily commute. Found two items on Amazon which seem to fit the bill - look like they would be sidewalk friendly, and could get me all the way there on a single charge. Sidewalk is important as bicycles have to be on the street, and I got nearly run over enough times on my e-bike I gave that up.

My biggest concern is that there is very little out there about either, and that one is so much cheaper than the other concerns me as well. Would love to know what y'all might be able to tell me about these.

Hi why not make your own based on a dirt scooter and electric bike parts? 1300$ is a steep budget which allows a quality build.
