10s3p ESkate Battery Build Overview Video

Post by Lash » Apr 15 2018 2:27am

Hey, I thought i'd post this quick overview video of a battery I just finished for a customer.

In doing some research, there were people making batteries in all sorts of different ways. I chose this layout for better current share, faster build time and having the terminals at the same point as each other.

This layout I believe will perform better under skateboard flex conditions, and will not put any pressure on welds.

Check it out and let me know you comments / improvement ideas for my next ones and other builders.

For Aussies looking for custom electric skateboard batteries, just reach out and I can build and ship them to you.

Cheers.

Sorry for late reply,The length and width were pretty much the dimensions of the cells. The customer had plenty of room in his enclosure for it, so basically 6 cells wide is ~ 120mm and 5 long is about 325-350mm.

height was about 22mm with a thin bit of foam underneath.

Cheers!
