Hi there, I am going to build a new E-skateboard and was wondering what you would recommend.
Part list:
• Deck Landyachtz http://landyachtz.com/triple-beam-how-its-made/
• Battery (custom)
• VESC 6 2x http://www.trampaboards.com/vesc-6--part-c-823.html
• Torque D-DRIVE ?
• Custom enclosure in carbon fiber (resin infused) http://www.easycomposites.co.uk/#!/starter-kits/resin-infusion-starter-kit.html
• Remote (what is best now?)
Here is the brief layout:

I have to give you a bit of background: I communicated with the Carvon Team and they told me to send it to back to them so that they can fix it for free (excluding shipping). Initially I was very excited and thought " what a great service". However, I never saw my broken Hubs again nor heard anything from Carvon apart from excuses. The worst is that I also bought some new V4 speeddrive Hubs from them and never go them. Made my brother buy a whole carvon Skateboard and nothing happened neither. Being really disappointed with the whole experience and having lost hundreds of Dollars... I am looking for an alternative to these great hubs. Here is they whole story for those who are interested: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11IBJtJSR_aYeBHvtvzp84Bf_L6tHjxjL/view?usp=sharing
Recently Torqueboard came out with some new direct drives that seem very similar to the latest Carvon Hubs for Preorder. Here is a link:
https://diyelectricskateboard.com/collections/pre-order/products/torqueboards-direct-drive-motor-kit
Having already ordered a few things from them I am sure they will be much more reliable.
Does anyone has tried them or has any suggestion about them? Is there another brand selling similar direct drive quality hub motors?
Thanks for helping!
