I thought that. This is a very expensive solution. If the pump for 5$ will not cope, then I will replace it with a pump for computer =)

Sorry this is was a stupid question, I forgot that the cables exit from the other side so probable there was available space to pass thru the axle a pipe.

I was very upset by the quality of gas triggers available for sale. I wanted something strong and with a bearing. I had to do it myself...

Total kilometers travelled - 9700
With the tire for go-kart - 7500
With new suspension - 6900

The design proved to be extremely reliable. Still no backlash, no loose ends. The only unexpected failure was a burst titanium pipe that holds the headlight.
The front tire was the expendable material. Total spent 8 tires
The back tire from the go-kart is incredible! for 7200km wear approximately 30%

Three battery cells died. I would like to replace it with li-ion, but not yet. So far, the scooter is disassembled... until better times

It was a great review. Complicated CNC work with lot of small details. Have you studied this ?
You've done lot of kilometers for only a year. Just imagine that the average yearly mileage for a car is 10.000 kilometers!
So what you've done is very impressive.
Pity that your battery pack needs replacement I thought LiFePO4 cells can live for 5-6 years without no problems and you can charge them more than 4.000-5.000 times.
Maybe the quality of these specific cells is not so good. If you like to do so many Km maybe is better to search and find good quality LiFePO4 cells instead of lithium ?

Is it cold there now ? Is this why you've disassembly the scooter ?

I long chose a cell for the battery. Had a long chat with the seller on Ali. But what came did not meet the stated characteristics.
One cell of the battery is 12AH Continous discharge 5c (peak 8C). Battery 24s3p had to give 180A (13kW). but in fact, the battery could not give 90A...
I'd like to order some li-ion cells, 3.7 v 48AH discharge current 180A. I personally know people who bought such batteries and conducted tests. It's definitely for me.

In my city there is almost no snow, so I can drive all year round:) The problem is that the battery began to give a maximum of 50A... it's like riding a sad cart.

New batteries for sure. Trick will be to find some that fit nicely (and are affordable).

Just wondering, how many hours of work did it take to build that? At the speed I do things, it would take about 20 years.
Are the parts coated or anodized? Anodizing would really take it to the next level.

The design took 2 months, 12-14 hours a week. For the manufacture of parts, in the amount of 60-65 hours CNC milling. The first Assembly - two months, 14-16 hours a week. Believing spent on upgrades is difficult to calculate. But rewind motor the week I just spent :)

In the future, I thought about anodized. I tried to do using what is, the result is not pleased... If do, do it accurately. And for this need to buy special equipment. For details of my size, suitable equipment will cost $4,500

The raw aluminum has an appeal to it but might get corroded over time. Over here, there are shops you can send your parts to for anodizing. Not really cheap, but much less than getting your own equipment.

That is an amazing project! I will follow it closely.

Would you mind sharing the design of your throttle and buttons grip ? I had something similar in mind for a while for e-bikes.

Continue the CNC porn and enhancements, amazing job!

I have an inrunner that has a little bit of oil inside to help spread the heat from coils to outer casing. And was thinking of modifing this to oilcooled but were affraid that with more oil inside, there will be a lot of drag to the rotor.

Even the complete filling of the bearing with grease, does not increase the rolling resistance.There is more suitable resistance when the flow around the bodies. But given the geometry of the rotor, this resistance can be ignored.
The only thing I noticed - the more oil in the motor, the lower the temperature :) well, I use the most liquid oil for Arctic transformers.

Well not really as (at least) EU regulation says 60V max w/o special precautions. But i don't think that police will know that.

I want to implement automatic control of the cooling system. The nucular controller allows you to adjust the temperature of the pump. And to make the inclusion of all users through a low-current relay.

My heart brakes to see it like this.. all the summer it was going up to the mountains like crazy 10.000km total distance and now it is sitting like dead inside the house :(

I wish you to have a new customer case soon as a lawyer to earn the money you need for a good battery and next summer to send us more crazy videos!

BTW can you explain how you are going to connect the led power supply with the controller & pump & motors temp sensor ?

10,000 is just a run-in :-D I don't see any nodes that require maintenance yet :)

Most sad to look at the disassembled scooter.. but such is life :)

The wiring diagram is not very complicated. In the controller settings, the temperature at which the contact (p1\p2) is closed to the ground is set.Which leads to the inclusion of power supplies and pumps.
