I want to build an electric wakeboard winch. I see several in here have done the same before, but I find little information about engine selection and controller. It's easiest to build it from a HUB engine, right? How powerful HUB engine do I need to do water starts? What kind of controller should I use? And how many Volts should this be run on? Hope someone can help me with some answers. And maybe some pictures from their builds.
