I've been looking at the Outboard Motor Shaft setups available on ebay. For example:

These are around AU$150 (so roughly US$100). They are designed for the Honda GX35 engine and clones. These are around 2HP, and commonly used for outdoor tools (chainsaws etc).
I was wondering what kind of electric motor would be suitable? Has anyone tried one of these as an alternative to trolling motors with different propellers?
