Last week I went to a ebike demo in Patapsco ST Park Baltimore, Md. I rode a bunch of Izip bikes w /350w currie tech mid drives and I have to say i was impressed. they flat out climbed like billy goats! Not fast, but steady, up grades I would never attempt with my geared hubby. I can't say how long the batteries would last like that but people were trading the bikes back and forth all afternoon. I know prebuilt ebikes are not everyone's favorite around here but these worked pretty dang good. I have not ridden a BBSHD, so I have nothing to compare it to, my opinion is subject to change!
