Pv shunt trip

In case of emergency
-high temp
-cells under or over voltage

I need a 12 vdc shunt trip to shutoff the Pvs.

Any advice on which one to buy?

Pretty sure that you can't use interruptions on PV like that. You can use a manual isolator.

In a dead short situation, PV just maxes out at Imax and stays there.

But you can put a shunt trip in which is activated by something other than current, like a thermostat perhaps.

Still not sure why you would do it though - surely the solar charge controller would have this feature?

I wan to cut any voltage / current from my panels in case of emergency automatically.

I dont want any powe to go into my batteries from the charge controller. I have already a manual disconnect but want to have automatic option.
