Is a solar power fridge available?

Post by OCD » Jun 10, 2017 11:16 pm

I'm doing a hub motor conversion for a guy on his ice cream trike who was asking for information about a small solar powered display refrigerator he saw a vendor had at an event he attended. It may be an urban myth that there's an all-in-one solution for this as the vendor wouldn't give him any information on it other than "China". Could it be that the vendor had enough solar to run a chest cooler?

Thanks

Those are probably some of the best available, but i thought the OP was asking about a "fully integrated" unit with ots own solar power built in ?

Most such "all in one" units I've seen have been pretty crappy. It's easy to put together a system with a panel, charge controller and battery - and with an EV involved, it makes a lot more sense to integrate the two systems into one.

sure, but what you or I might prefer to do was not the question...
