Now is a good time to stock the fridge w/ nothing but the best.

Pritikin Center has food you can order
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4TEQJDLGqA
You can attend their classes and they will teach you how to cook healthy food- and NOT take drugs like statins.

.

So we haven't heard more about this prosperity.

I can't believe I watched the entire 1.5hrs of this video on fructose, and sucrose toxins. Even the biology bit I had no idea what he was talking about but I followed, he is a good presenter.

Robert H Lustig
Sugar: The Bitter Truth

i hate to give you the bad news.
Lustig is a fraud paid by the Dairy industry to make fat look good :(
The chart he did not show, is the INCREASE in CHEESE consumption, which is a dead ringer. :bigthumb:

OK I will have to read more of this then and see.

Its interesting because when I was watching the video, I was like Lustig's got some bulk to him.

i had not seen it  i found out he was a fraud by the funding connection and nobody could confirm anything he said :(

Robert Lustig is awesome.. he's been the biggest force in batting back what Coca Cola has managed to do to our government's nutritional science research and can relay the nuances of human metabolism better than anyone else i've watched.

Cheers.

soda sales are way down :bigthumb: https://www.google.com/search?q=coca+cola+consumption+yearly+chart&rlz=1CAACAC_enUS604US809&sxsrf=ALeKk00O4lVxSfDU8FJ5tv2JeydEJI_UaA:1608475118815&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=aAfO4dsS94WLcM%252Cn8JKMVfIfyH8GM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kSenaF4aFYUU1u5eoA2YKanXNYkxQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj2zNjg5NztAhVHlVkKHQi7BooQ9QF6BAgMEAE#imgrc=aAfO4dsS94WLcM
that is 1 thing good about lustig, they should not sell soda in school, and i think he helped get some of it removed :thumb:
BUT obesity is still climbing - it is too much cheese that puts on the fat https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html
page down for yearly obesity chart https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db360.htm
With the dramatic drop in soda sales, one would expect to see a drop or a leveling off of obesity if the soda was the cause.

Soda sales are down because there are so many other unhealthy choices out there like energy drinks and sports drinks.
Go to your local convenience store and see all the choices you have in the fridges, then compare how much room soda's have compared to the rest of the choices.

Obesity is climbing because the government allows it to happen.

The US gov, their action, encourage it. They promote unhealthy food- Nixon wanted cheap food to make people happy and vote for him  They all take money from the cattle industry so, in exchange, they have a subsidy for grains which are then sold to cattle guys cheap. Just follow the money
My sister and i have never been overweight. We just refused to buy new clothes caused by gaining weight; when they got tight we ate less. :bigthumb:
Good point about energy drinks, (BUT why would they be excluded from soda sales?) and if they get people off their butt and doing things, the extra activity should burn the calories. Dr Greger has studies that just extra water does the trick! Another win for clever marketing

Lustig was 100% right about 1 thing. He said EAT REAL FOOD :bigthumb: I had to spend 6 months on that, and my conclusion is it is vegetables and fruit, grains, nuts, seeds, beans. REAL FOOD

Study shows 73% less COVID deaths with the best diet:

:bigthumb: :bigthumb:

thanks for the link :bigthumb:
looks like it confirms what Mic said :bigthumb: :bigthumb:

Nope it doesn't. It's very clear you did not read the linked study.

and it is very clear you did not listen to Mic. You can do better than that
.
Putting our views aside  here is a rare dr greger video where he shows how green tea can help balance out the negative effects of meat  you probably already drink green tea, so i post it for those that want better odds against disease :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5coWNHNaC8&ab_channel=NutritionFacts.org

3 years ago my cholesterol was 196  and i was under 125 lbs. My Dr. wanted me to take a statin, and i said i'd like to try diet 1st. Got down to 135 changing my diet, not taking any drugs.
So anybody that goes to their Dr., and you feel fine, and get a normal report, why mess with your diet?
I've seen time and time again, reports that all cause mortality goes up with cholesterol. ALL CAUSE includes covid, it is as simple as that. :bigthumb:

I don't, i read research first because people like him just briefly glance at it and start making stuff up. And in this case, predictably, he did. He took a really poorly constructed study about covid-19 severity and said it was about mortality.
He read so little that he missed the part that there weren't vegans in the study.

Guys like him know people don't read or care to fact check him. And then his viewers spread his message because it fits their bias.
This is why a majority of people are confused on how/what/when to eat.

Boy you really dug a deep grave for yourself. Shame on you. I distinctly heard Mic say it was not a study of vegans. and he described the weakness of the report. He made it clear it was not a scientific study, just a clue.
You should be fired as a mod. Also the time of your 1st post about Mic showed you could not of watched the video. You lied. Made it up.
Lets get your supervisor in here to have a look. :bigthumb:
Or at least you should apologize. 8)

Back on topic- all anyone has to do is get normal blood tests to check if they are eating healthy :bigthumb:
