Charity Events & Sponsorship

Post by Kingfish » May 29, 2011 8:18 pm

This idea was put forward to me by a pal who was intrigued with my plans to go cross-country on my electric bike. He says to me that I should develop sponsorship; pick a charity and raise its’ awareness. The thing is… I’m a treehugger: Mild mannered treehugger, but a friend of the forest nonetheless. And I like fishes and birdies too. Though I don’t know how conducive these are to charity sponsorship. Hmmm…
  • Regardless, if you could ride for some charitable event, would you do it?
  • And what sort of charitable organizations would you ride for?
  • Can you think of one that is EV-centric?
Maybe together we can build an interest, plant a seed... and watch it flower :)

Thanks for your input. KF

The hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
