Brand and type of cells? How many cells in series and how many in parallel? Do you have some more info?

EMP is using Samsung 48g.. LG M50.. also cell the call RPE sourced from China. They said the 48G and M50 are 3C the RPE is 9C. There packs are 72v
20ah up to 40ah. Don't know how many
Cells in parallel.

From the info I guess 20S8P that is about 11Kg battery if made with Samsung and LG cells because there I read: "Samsung and LG cell only available for 40Ah battery"
I guess it's a good stock Bomber replacement battery at 2.5K USD for the 40Ah type.

Here is a review of the Samsung INR21700-48G
https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2 ... %20UK.html

Then with these data:
Maximum Instantaneous discharging current Amperage of BMS (A): 160
Maximum continuous discharging current Amperage of BMS(A): 80

We have 20A peak current and 10A continuous current for each single cell and it seems they can leave with 10A continuous:

Interesting is the voltage drop compared to Samsung 30Q:

But now we need some experts to find out if 21700 is better than 18650 in Wh/Kg :)

Here is the thread of these new battery: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=90515

40 amp hours would really be something. That would basically turn my bike into a motorcycle.

Sounds like its the center sprocket on the center shaft. the sprockets are sandwiched in place with 2 Allen screws.. May be that assembly got loose.

Definitely a good idea if you dont' want to worry about remembering to unplug the power to charger.

Hey fellas with crazy batteries...

I want to upgrade my battery, get as much power as possible with good reliability and lifespan in the frame using stock charger, controller, and cav 3.. I'm in the US and wanted to know if you all know of any battery builders that could make me something that I can either get built in USA or shipped to the USA?

Thanks!

does anyone have the same problem as my fighter?
My 2 speed internal gearbox outer rim is too close or touching the swingarm nut

That cover is there to protect the gears from dirt and crap getting in there. From the looks of your pics, you need to get a new cover that covers those gears. Then it wont be near your swingarm pivot nut

Thank you so much for your input, i think the cover is torn apart because of the pivot is too close to the 2 speed gearbox.
do you know if the cover spins together with the gear or in fixed position? im asking because my cover doesnt move at all like its stuck on the bottom bracket. so even if i replace the gear cover, it will have the same prob. i might have to grind off the bottom of the nut to have more clearance b4 installing new cover..
Has anyone took out the 2 speed gearbox and just put a single speed? i will lose high speed pedaling but 1 less prob for the future.
Thanks!!
