I've been on this forum for a couple of months reading up and learning about e-bikes while bulding my own, and here is what I've built so far!
Bought this bike off Craigslist, the original person who built this thing put a chain driven Brushed motor with SLA batteries, and a 350w controller. Needless to say it was slow.
Got home, gutted the motor, batteries, and controller.
I bought a 1500w RisunMotor eBike Kit which comes with a 60v 1500w DD hub , hydraulic disk brakes, and 750c display. I'm waiting for my battery to be built to get this thing on the road. Still have to figure out a few more things like whether to run it without a derailleur and just get a chain tensioner instead.
