Battery is a 52V 17.5Ah 14s5p with Sanyo NCR18650GA cells

the adjustable torque ramp up rate for regen on the phaserunner is a life saver on bikes with small drop outs like yours. whats the motor?
torque arm is up next, ill have to laser cut that one before i can use regen. motor is a 9continent RH212_Std from ebike.ca

Thank you, your downhill monster looks good as well. Yes the frame is aluminum, it's quite hard to find a decent frame these days, all these modern bikes have stupid low upper tubes where batteries wont fit. From time to time I'm having a look on the second hand market for good frames. I hope they get my stainless steel torque arms laser cuted this week so i can actually do a proper test run.

I recently had the pleasure of a battery fire that almost destroyed my bike. Fortunately, the battery came off the bike and I was able to pull the frame away. However, my Cycle Analyser got badly burned. The reason for this was the cheap BMS that was built into the Battery Pack, it probably shortened one Cell which created a runaway effect and the whole pack melted like Lava.

So to hopefully avoid this in future I'm going for a JK-BMS with active balancing, first impressions are good so far, will keep you posted.
