There is an unusual, rear-steer delta trike called the Mobo Triton Pro which I'm considering going Dr. Frankenstein on. It has a 20 inch, pedal driven front wheel... but what if the seat faced the other way and the now-rear wheel had a hub motor? It would then be an electric-only tadpole. At $500 for the trike it could be a fun project for me to make a low-speed tadpole for a loved one with balance issues...

I cant' clearly tell in the pics I found online, but it looks like it might work to do that. You would probably need to rework the steering linkage so it works "backwards" too.

Building a pedal drivetrain for it would take some doing, and it may require a "front" motor in the rear, which will require even more DIY to either narrow the shoulders on a rear motor's axle to fit, or to add a single-speed freewheel or non-freewheeling sprocket to the motor to get the pedal drivetrain to the motor.
