Also ordered the battery from Dengfu. (came with a charger as well)
It's Ok but doesn't deliver enough Amps for my application and only 48V
Was hoping I could squeeze some more cells in there but absolutely no extra space available :(
So sold it (It also fits the E10 M600 frames)

Tried 2 different wheelsets 26x4.8 and 27.5x4.5

First job was to make a battery.
Someone offered me a good price on some 21700 Molicels P42A
Plan was to make some room in the frame and make a 14S5P

Opened up the top of the frame:

Can't get more then 10 21700 cells side by side. (18650 14pcs max)

If I had to do it again I would have gone for 14S5P or 14S6P 18650's

I painted my previous bike myself but I was not 100% happy with the results:

So decided to try something else.
Found a company that did ceramic coatings (Cerakote)
But first had to prepare the frame.

Had to cover the 2 holes in the frame (on/off button and battery lock)
My new much longer battery made using them impossible.

Bought some carbon fibre tape + epoxy and did quite a good job :)

Great build!

Frame looks very similar to the E10.

Two questions if I may:

On the image attached,
how do you determine the torque of this bolt?
is there a retaining nut on the other side or what retains it?

Cockpit:
The innotrace motor comes with an optional X1 display (Looks like a Bafang SW102)
It has a hidden lock/unlock 25km/h function.

I like a left thumb throttle but it doesn't match very well with the display.
Some adjustment is needed.

Note the dropper remote.
Everything into the reach of your thumb.

I don't like messy cables like in this example

So I make my custom cables.

Im using the Rotwild handlebar that has some nice internal cable routing features.

Et voila!

There is no torque specified for this bolt.
Probably around 6Nm + Loctite.
The carbon is threaded. So don't overdo it!

Hi Daxxie wicked job on this bike im very impressed and grateful for you sharing this info. i see that you managed to squeeze 70 21700 cells into the E23 with a smart bms. my aim is to get 56 Samsung 50E cells with the smart bms into the E22. do you think it would be possible to get them into the frame without having to cut that top section out or would that still be necessary?
