Thank you for the compliment. Layback seat posts came from eBay. It appears as though the price went up and then availability went to zero. I checked my purchase history, then just briefly looked for these seat posts again. I might be able to provide an old link. I am computer challenged but I am sure I could figger how.

Are those bikes for people with disability (very short legs and very long arms...)?
The ergonomics look awful to actually pedal them.

Not much pedaling going on. Therapeutic pedaling does occur. Comfort at any speed is key. Not built with a true cyclist in mind. Intended for recreation/transportation.
That would be the first time I have been told it didn't look right.

How much would the lay back seat post cost?
I wouldnt mind an old link if its still valid.

I need one for my good fat bike frame from Costco that just needs a new Sunlite fork that ended up bent. I dislike the upright riding position like any other typical mountain bike has and prefer a more stretched frame for my tall body.

Those spacious rear dropouts are a dream for fitting simple TAs! :thumb:

Nothing wrong with moving the saddle rearward, but the bike will fit weirdly if the bars don't also move back.

When I made a bike with a long layback for the seat, I had to use pulled-back bars and a reversed stem to make it fit right.

It appears the item is not currently available. I have attached a screenshot of my eBay purchase history to show the seller and item #. I may be able to part with one as I am fitting a banana seat ... so I'll have a spare layback seat post.

😃👍 You do you. I am 6 ft. and I have done plenty of work to address comfortable control for myself and others. 1500 - 3000w speeds are different than pedal speeds. Thanx for the pic. Nice bike. I appreciate the shout out to GRIN. I aspire to be able to purchase a ca, satiator, and/or controller. I am currently working on a banana seat just for funzies. Low rider with a sissy bar. I turned the stem over to lower it along with the bars. The idea is to accommodate short legged female. No Rules. Bars and seat that work for you.(or her). Anything is possible.
Thank you for the positivity.

I feel stupid having to ask. TAs?

Torque arms. You will definitely need them if you use a hub motor over 750W.

Good eye. I install 2 on each of my bikes. Solid dropouts to accommodate TAs is on the criteria list. Expensive and dangerous if one of these motors goes out of control. Priority #1 ... nobody gets hurt. Thanx for the input.

The guy in the picture is about 6 feet tall. I'm 6'8" and have other fit concerns. My point is that there's a proven distribution of bike fit, and if the leg extension and arm extension get too divergent, you have a bike that fits only half of a person (or a whole orangutan).

Just a few more pics for now.

LOL Funny because requested "ape hangers" may be in the works. Kids today ... am I right?
