End result of my Giant Glory 2 downhill bike + CYC Pro 1.
Battery 14s5p of 18650.
The frame is strong but with very limited space for the battery. Basically bad choice for the build.

Battery case made at home using gas fibre, some metal inserts, kevlar and resin.

Agree! :thumb:
Nice maximizing use of constrained space, and very tidy, well finished.

Looks like there is plenty of clearance for more battery under the downtube if you need it. Choice of frame is correct if it supports your riding style and terrain.

Thanks guys!
From the design point of view the battery compartment looks kind of boxy, although decided to go practical rather than beauty. The box is fitted snug and firmly holds the battery. Small battery in certain conditions could be a plus, less added weight especially for the downhill.
I was a bit sceptical before starting to build the bike (not happy with CYC gearbox noise and small space for the battery), in the end under right conditions the bike is great.

For greater distance, more power or silent drive, I do have 3 more custom built horses :)

Oh is that nice. Looks , Power , technology, suspension.
That's a great eBike Universal !
Innovation that you created, & will be copied.
Bravo, capable, popular , easy to buy Giant frame with beautiful paint:
One great bespoke battery and a high end belt mid drive. Pow
