Hi,

Where did you get this thing? Are there any videos with the sound of the bike?

The drive-train and battery are base around the Bosch ebike system.
http://www.bosch-ebike.de/en/ebike/homepage.html

There are 18 bike manufacturers had adapted the system, I believe all of them are European manufacturers:

Bosch had not plan to release this product to North America market in 2011. May be in 2012.

Here is video how to disassemble the entire system:

I hear ya. I found steep and "barely make it". but no sound and very loose.

We need good tacky dirt and natural sound.

After accelerating to 25 kph in just a few seconds, the motor automatically shuts off. This means that an e-bike equipped with this system still qualifies as a bicycle under German law.

Lol! My bike would climb triple that incline! Nice bike though, very clean design!

Ill post one tonight, I can't from my phone...

LETS SEE IT
On loose terrain!

SKIP TO 11 Minutes and you can see the trail snaking up the mountain. This trail is a challenge to WALK up let alone bike... This is also with only 1500 watts peak, and MUCH less than that most of the time.. Oh yeah, and I don't have to pedal at all unless I feel like it.

I didn't watch all of it but there were some serious inclines and serious torque going to the rear wheel there. And man was there lot of noise coming from that motor. I had to turn down the volume... But to be honest I really wanted to see some loss of grip, some loose terrain. We need sustained wheel spin!

Yeah that was the first version of the box, just to prove the concept. The new one should be waaaay quieter!

 All this will prove is that either the bike is not controllable or the rider has no control over the bike
