Bravo, that is one seriously tidy build. I love the torque plate solution as well. I would love to see a similar thing done with Lipo, as you could get the whole thing much smaller, but I love how you have contained it all, that thing looks ready for battle.

Super Nice build my friend!

Very Clean!... ... Cleaner than mine  wich are more like Mad max

I'm impatient to meet you and enjoy our ebikes one day.. maybe

Big thanks to you for the help about advices for electrical regulations regarding my 220V 60A 2 pole sub panel

I would love to see a video of that ebike runing!

super vélo!!! félicitations!!! la boîte qui renferme la batterie est fait en aluminium??? The battery box is made of aluminium?? Did you fabricate it yourself?

Excellent work, it does have a really good industrial style look to it, definitely not stealthy but fit for purpose :)

Salut fractal

As you ask ;

-the battery box , dash-board , and side covers are made of " russian plywood "
-the strap for holding the box to the frame are made of " aluminium flat bar "
-the removable controller and connection cover made of " plastic speaker box case "
-the 5$ spot-light are made of ABS pluming pipe .
-Ect ,ect ,ect ...

All and everything was hand-made from used and/or broken parts to lower the cost and to achieve the look and the performance i want for my commuter .

My next project is gona be a lipo dirt-bike " ghetto style " for mountain riding

Thanks guys for all the good comment , its really appreciate .100_0656 b.jpg

Just curious: What's the difference between "russian" and normal plywood?

Also known as baltic birch
Great for skateboards and loudspeakers and

Nice clean bike. Is this full suspension? If so it will be one kick ass bike.

Cool motorcycle. Got a licenseplate for it yet?

HAHAHA ! I know your joking but when i was at the begining of my first project ,

I got some hesitation between building a bicycle or a plated scooter .

This bike run like a really-really-good scooter but whitout a license-plate

But i have to be careful a bit , because the speed limit in Montreal for ( assisted bicycle ) is 32 kmh

Since I have seen it in details, I can testify that this Ebike is built with great care, and everything look like it was manufactured specifically. To me, it looked like it could be commercialized as is, adding only a brand Logo and a color scheme.

We had a fun ride in the mountain with my bikes. I know that you will build one on a DH frame next, and i can't wait to see the look of it.

Errrrp. [This thread last/previous post Jul 06, 2012.] Coming up four years... any new episodes? Travels and vehicles, etc... Merci
