Hi guy's

So I had my once a year skiing trip the other week and here's the video.
Had a great day, and loved the variety in weather and terrain I got to explore.
Enjoy!

Went for a ride today with ES member Briangv99 through some snow up the top of the Brindabella ranges. It was a very challenging ride and a lot more difficult to ride in snow than I remembered from the last time I tried several years ago.
We didn't get very far before we had to turn around due to diminishing batteries and time, but I would certainly do it again. I think if I make it a regular thing I would have to invest in an electric fat bike though as it's just too tough doing it on a MTB platform even with 3" tires.

I'll try and make a video of the ride, but there is more footage of crashing and pushing than riding so not sure how it will turn out.

Classic video CD, that snow was wet and heavy, the slickest kind, nice touch with the stacks at the end. Excellent editing.

Thanks Rick.
Lately, editing up these videos takes me a good 2-3 weeks of periodic 1-2 hour stints every other day. Not sure if it's because I'm more selective about the end result or because I'm generally more busy, or both. Either way, I like the end result even if it's just for memories sake.

Editing is so time consuming, I am not as active with the videos as I once was because I have less free time.

Went for a nice ride with fellow ES members Briangv99 and 9Lives last weekend.
Unfortunately Briangv99 got about 3 pinch flats we tried to fix in vein, but we still managed to get a decent ride in after we swapped in a Gaadi open ended tube:
Image
It definitely came in handy as we were not able to remove the rear wheel/Cromotor.

Enjoy!

Great video CD, you're getting quick at editing

Some sharp rocks poking out of the ground around 9lives place.

Gaadi double ended tube saved the day (I've ordered one as a backup when patches just wont stick) kind of tough to get the cro out the Keewee without a socket and bar.

Been a while, and for those that haven't been following the Stealth owners thread, I've got a new battery in my Fighter.
Image
I've been building it since late December, and only finished last weekend. Took a lot of time and effort but it's well worth it IMO.
It's 2.5Kwhr 14S14P Sanyo 18650GA. Good for up to 140A discharge and up to 200Km range at about 500W assist, or 80Km when blasting around as hard/fast as I can at over 120A/6.5KWW.
More details over on the Stealth owners thread:
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... 5#p1342710

Anyway, this was last weekend, I went up Castle hill, over near Tharwa, a 60Km round trip from my home.
This was the first time I had been up this hill, so didn't get as many fly by shots as I would have liked to make a decent video, but still ok.
Enjoy!

This place was amazing, so I definitely want to go back some time. The rock formations are incredible, but it does make for some really rough/dangerous riding at times. I had a number of very close calls, but thankfully kept it all together. The hill down the front face was INSANELY steep. The video really doesn't do it justice, but I nearly had my butt on the rear wheel and the front started to lock up a bunch of times in the loose dirt. I'm so glad I didn't come off down that stuff...would have been nasty.

Cheers

Not sure why that is, but there all the same ones anyway.
I've also got a Vimeo channel I throw some stuff up on cause sometimes the quality is rubbish on Youtube.

No worries!
Yeah my Fighters been modified pretty heavily. The specific output/configuration has changed quite a lot over the years, and on average I'm putting out about 5-6KW peak.
That being said, I didn't increase the power because the stock was lacking a whole lot. I just love tinkering and modifying things, so why not make it better while enjoying the work at the same time. :)

It's all super green now after all the rain we've had lately. I'll have to get back out for another ride before it all dry's out again.

Let's just say I've seen the light and can't go back! I'm enjoying the mid drive so much I'm about to sell my Fighter! I wish I didn't have to, but I have some super secret plans to build a never before seen electrically motivated contraption that needs some serious $$$ to get started.
That and not having to fix (upgrade) my Fighter all the time will give me so much time back.
