I decided to disassemble my Yuneec E-go longboard to attempt a friction drive. So far, sooooo good.

One of my requirements was to do no damage to the longboard or it's drivetrain, but I don't think this is going back on the skateboard deck anytime soon.

The battery is a 7.8ah LiFePo4 built with Headways and the motor is 400w brushless. I added some stick-on sanding paper for friction, and I mounted the motor on a simple caster from Home Depot.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement, or any questions if you're attempting something similar.

Thanks!
