Keeping the battery small makes the bike light enough to be able to pedal without power not too bad like a heavy bike but with 30mph on demand. Light pedaling and light throttle at moderate speeds can easily take you 4x the distance of just going full throttle.

It takes getting used to at first but i love extra "slack" feeling you get during turns from raising the forks suspension. Really adds to stability at speeds and makes turning a lot less sensitive. I've seen builds of people running 180mm+ dual crowns on this frame with no problem so i see no issue with 150mm.

Still have to get new tires, need a real battery, and thinking of going 72v but i really only want to go a little faster than I already do at best... this hub goes crazy fast on its stock 22/26a controller im thinking with a 48v 1500w controller @ 130% over speed it would be more than enough speed, but higher voltage is more efficient.

Plus this deal is extremely tempting: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-SAMSUNG-18650-36V-4-4AH-BATTERY-EBIKE-VAPE-POWERWALL-BATTERIES-200-CELLS-BMS/201916140363?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
72v 22ah for $250 doesnt sound bad at all....
