Hi all,
I starting convert this great downhill bike.
I have just ordered the classic cyclone 3kw kit.

i'm planning to fit battery on the sides of the top tube (rectangular shape)
is it correct to build two packs for example 7s4p and connect them in serial for 14s8p ?
Or perhaps a rectangular 14s7p can fit below the downtube but i need to do some measures
all ideas are welcome :D

Looks like a fun build. Two 7s4p packs connected in series would be 14s4p. A 14s8p pack split into two equal halves would be 7s8p.

I also in 2013 made my first bike with a vario frame impossible for me to mount the battery on the frame it was ugly coup in backpack

yes, i made a mistake when i write it.
so, is it a bad thing to build a pack splitted like 7s(X)p x2 in serial with one BMS ?

I think your frame is better than mine for put a battery before tube, especially with hub motor.
your bike is beautiful :)

That frame is just begging for a mid drive and battery under the tube!

this is the left motor mount that i'm start to build.
it's a 3mm sheet metal.

custom motor clamping is done.
I weld a plug with M6 tap below the down tube so it's invisible.
Now waiting for battery pack, chain and chain tensioner.
