Other resources/forums for more mechanical design discussion

Hello, I am currently working on an electric go-kart type of vehicle and would like to get into machining and mechanical designs (simple 1 gear reduction, wheel differential, suspension, a-arm designs). I am more experienced in electronics and electrical things. What other resources/forums do you guys go to when seeking mechanical helps?

Nice finds..yes, I did read some books. Most of them that I came across talk about the theories..they do have nice pictures of machines, gearboxes, and things like that.

It is very easy to find schematics and tutorials online for electrical circuits to actually build them and learn them. I am seeking something like that for mechanical stuff.

If you don't mind me asking, what parts of an E-kart design do you have questions about?
