Goldenmotor BAC-028x Wiring

Does anyone have experience wiring a Goldenmotor BAC-028X controller? I've attached the wiring diagram and have the following questions:

1) Is "G" the power supply for the throttle LEDs?

2) I noticed that "S1" which is a spare is jumped to "G". When I disconnect I loose my throttle LED power. This is not included in the wiring diagram.

I have the same controller on my bench trying to get it functioning.
So i cannot help you much other than to say this one also has the "G" and "S1" contacts linked via a wire on the connector plug. But i dont have the throttle to see what effect it has on the leds.

Is the "Lock" switch act as a master On/Off control , or is there another switch somewhere in the circuit ?

Yes I have the user guide but it's not very helpful. I am not using the on/off switch connected to "G". In have installed a separate switch between the battery and the "B+" terminal.
