X6 48v batteries powering 48v motor question?

Hi all,
I'm new to the reclaiming of 18650's but I like what I see,
I'm building x6 48v batteries with 8p x 13s
My question:-
How do I link the 6 batteries together to enter my Kelly kdz controller to power a 48v motor?
Any help would be great,

I dont' really understand the question. If you are already paralleling the cells, why not just parallel the packs the same way?

Thats what I thought,
I was just making sure it is safe to connect all the positives to the + on the controller and all the negatives to the - on the controller,

Just make sure they are all at the same voltage (to the nearest 0.1 volts), before you connect them together. :wink:

Thanks for the update, if there not the same what could happen? Won't they just balance each other out?

Yes, but there will be no control of the current between packs if differing voltage
So , big sparks on connection and possible overheating of cells and wires if much voltage difference.
