I would like to connect both brakes to the CA. Brakes has 3 wires (Ground, 5 volts and EBK). I'm going to tie wires for the ground and EBK together). Can I do the same for the 5 volt wires? If I tie the together will that harm the CA with 10 volts?

Thanks

Yes, that is exactly how it should be done. The CA brake connector will supply GND and +5V to both ebrakes and respond to the outputs of either or both.

The newer CA3 4pin brake connectors provide +5V. If you have an earlier CA without +5V on pin 1, you can route it from either of the throttle or AuxIn connectors or bring it out from either of the +5V PCB pads where the throttle and Aux connections terminate.

ok thanks for reply. I was not too sure about the 5 volt line and it should be tied together. I was thinking they are hot and when you tie them together you get 10 volts and may fry the CA.

thanks for your help
