Hehe...

Hehe... Forum thread topic was "designed" to attract folks from Germany... where they make "REAL" electric bikes.
Mein Gott!

How much is 'Made in Germany' really worth?
.
but a label alone isn't enough to guarantee sales
a new study shows
.
.
German goods also do not score as well when it comes to design and lifestyle products.
.
.
"When the German origin is known, manufacturers or products are seen to be of high precision and quality," Martin Wiekert wrote from Washington. "But, on the other hand, they are also seen as having a handsome price and being an unwelcome competition to products 'Made in the USA.' Many German companies use such labels cautiously or non-prominently."

Hehe... `Round here... neighbourhood lousy with BMWs... Smart cars... but don't really pay THAT much attention, really. :)

Again, Topic Title was just to flush out any folks from Germany/Austria/etc... to say "Watts Up?".

Elektrofarrad Uber Alles?

I found the Yamaha drives to be equal to the Bosch, both are wonderful. In the EU, there is a bias towards the German Bosch products. They are good, don't get me wrong. But here in the US, I would gladly pay less for a Japanese-designed Yamaha drive and pocket the extra cash.

If you have a need for a factory ebike, and also a fetish for German design, look at the Spitzing 14S drives. Bosch is gut, ja? but the Spitzing is Wunderbar.

My ancestors are German, does that count?

Perhaps you can get dual citizenship and snatch that free healthcare ;)
FYI - http://www.germanyhis.com/ and http://www.passportia.org/citizenship/germany/

I kinda dig that ebike, a little chunky on the frame lines from a spectator viewpoint.
Image search came up with one picture

Hehe... folks in South Africa "acting funny":
620x349

Maybe those crazy tourists...

I had a German girlfriend in high school. We used to have a few beers and then pretend that I was Poland, and she was a Stuka dive bomber. Check for a Kielbasa before you take one home, but...based on my experience, 10/10, would date again.

Outside Scotland, there is no other country with so many whisky distilleries as Germany.

Germany of course is the land of beer.
No more needs to be said, I am sold, a case of your finest...
You therefore rub your eyes in disbelief at this (sober) statistic:
...Staatl Fachingen

Hehe... Don't mess up thread. WAS hoping to tap w/real ebike riders from German parts of Europe. Probably should have started a German beers thread instead.

There's bound to be some Germans who are into Kid Rock. Or at least into the language he uses. Associate that with Oktoberfest and maybe they'll think ES is a fun place.
