Hi all,

I ordered a Super73 Z model and I am planing to modify the bike. It comes with a 350w hub motor, 15-20mph, range of 15-20 miles, coordinately to their website. However, there are currently no more detailed information available.

My original idea was to swap out the hub motor, extended or replace the battery and controller. But now I am wondering if I would purchase a mid-drive motor, if I can keep the original hub motor and use it additionally at the same time.

Does anyone have experience in running a hub and a mid-drive motor at the same time? Does it make sense? Also, I am wondering what kind of controller I would need. If I go with Cyclone mid drive 3000 watt kit. I assume the motor needs more power than the hub motor can handle (without knowing the exact specs).

Best,
JP
