Phase wire connector options.

I'm wondering what you guys use to connect phase wires.
On my lightning rods small block motor and controller, there are ring terminals. At the moment I just have them connected and covered with electrical tape.
I have seen some images of terminal block connectors but can't find a source for them.
What do you guys use?

Depends on how much power you're running but individual gold-plated bullet connectors used for RC models are good and compact and come in a range of sizes to suit different power levels.

You can cut off as many positions as you need. The screws tend to loosen over time when first installed but if you re-tighten them after a while, they tend to stay tight. They come in different sizes, this one is supposed to fit up to 8ga.

to use 4, 5.5mm bullets (personal preference) must be able to solder large size parts/wire

I had wanted to keep the ring terminals because they were well done but, as I'm a bit tight for space I may snip them off.

In the specifications, it says it's rated for 32A. That would just melt on my bike but might be OK for a smaller motor.

They are great little connectors but yeah just for lower amp applications

controller can be damaged if poor phase connection under operation

rc world has dealt with similar issues in depth and solution is well tested and readily available for whom solder well

Here's something that's probably more appropriate, but still may be undersized for larger motors

XT150 connectors come in different colors and you can link the bodies together. Just search for XT150.
