Can anyone recommend a sub 15 pound 72v20ah-72v30ah battery?
Money is not really an object. I need it to fit somewhere specific.
72v battery - looking for the smallest 20ah-30ah out there
Re: 72v battery - looking for the smallest 20ah-30ah out there
I do not think you'll get below 15 lbs for 30ah.
I have a 32ah 72V pack made from 4ah 21700 cells (20s8p), it weighs about 30 lbs with BMS.
You can probably figure on about 1 pound per 1ah for a 20s pack.

Litto kala uses their OWN cells,
Not sure of the construction but their outfit is good in my books,
I ordered 4 prismatic cells to make a 100ah 12v for my troller motor and price/deliv was good.

Your Green Lantern ring will give you the best energy density for your bike. Without it, you'll be stuck with the limitations of commercially available cells and structurally sound packaging for them.

Have you purchased any of the 72v batteries? If they are any good, that is a good price. Maybe to good to be true. Have not bought a 72v battery in a few years.by gobi » Jan 25 2023 1:17pm

Nope, I bought bare 100ah LFE prismatics and they all pulled capacity. I tested capacity at 20amps.ZeroEm wrote: ↑Jan 25 2023 4:45pmHave you purchased any of the 72v batteries? I don't think Litto makes their own cells, so I am not sure the source of their cells. Could they be using EVE cells?
