Broken Cycle Analyst(s)

Postby Rollodo » Fri Aug 09, 2013 11:32 am

If anyone has a CA that:

- Only shows a limited number of information;
- With not clearly visible numbers or letters;
- Is not good for everyday use, but with the cords intact (or if the cords are damaged, that's cool, too);
- That you would otherwise throw out.

You get the idea.

Just let me know if someone has one or two. I can't say that I'll pay top dollar (since it's for non-functional / broken), but let me know what you have. Thanks again.

Do you just need the cords? If so, we have half a dozen cords and plugs from various versions.
The race bike:
24s5p 50c nano tech
Badass custom mofo outrunner 205x177mm 26kv
Peak power in : 420A at 87v
Peak power out: 34 Hp and 105ft/lb

Build to last...
"It will be assaulted by the elements, It will be ravaged by time and it will be destroyed by the user. BUT, if you Stick to the little rules: K.I.S.S., Overbuild everything, and test, review, revise, repeat. It will last"

Nope, need the whole thing, in fact you can keep the cords. I just need the unit to display something, to know that once I plug the power, that it will at least be registered, but not necessarily show everything legibly. Think of it this way - if something isn't showing properly for whatever reason after a number of tries, you'd probably think the thing is broken. If yes, consider sending it my way.

Nothing at all? Not even a single pixel on the LCD? PM me the price shipped (probably USPS, as it's most economical), let me see, maybe it'll still serve my project well.

I replied to your PM (attached). The combination of the highlighted area on both left and right indicates that you've both received and read it at that time.

Rollodo,

let me look into my shop and see what I have.

I know that I have 1 completly functional CA. It is an older series with the large screen format (comes with a shunt too). I used it on my electric trike and had the speedo hooked up.

I have another 1 or even 2 units that am not sure if they are still functional. Pretty sure 1 is a large screen just like the one mentioned above. Of these, I remember snipping off the speedo wiring, as I used this on a battery. If I remember correctly, I think the CA was not happy that this was a 12v battery and stopped working.

I'll sell the working unit for $40. If the other(s) are non-functional, I'll throw them in too. As well as the shunts and magnetic pickups.
