Heres me copy and pasting the ebay advert:

Unlike every other high powered ebike on ebay, this model has passed government approval and has been road registered as a motorcycle class vehicle, so can legally travel on the roads at its top speed, 60mph. Features:

Adaptto Max-e sine wave controller, programmable profiles/throttle curves, intelligent temperature and range management.
1200wh 75v 16ah lipo battery as standard. Can upgrade the battery to 2400wh 32ah for an extra £300 (if you opt for the larger battery, there will be a delay of a week or two).
5000w 3t hub motor.
1500w eaton apr-48-3g fast charger, fully charged in 1 hour for 1200wh battery, 2 hours for 2400wh battery. Easy access charging port on the side of the bike using a neutrik connector.
DNM USD-8 downhill forks.
Regenerative braking. Hydraulic pit bike brakes front and rear. Fat road legal tyres, 3" wide front 3.25" wide rear. Lightweight (for a motorcycle class vehicle), 50kg.
Registered in July 2015, so as new condition, wont need an MOT for 3 years. Can be taxed for £0 (as its electric). Can be ridden with just a CBT. Can be insured with Adrian Flux for same price as a 125cc, they dont consider high powered ebikes exotic.

Delivery is extra, could be by a motorcycle shipping company, they normally charge between £60-150 depending on how far away you are. Alternatively I am willing to use the cheapest method you can find. If youre close to me, I'd be willing to deliver it personally, probably in bits in my car, and then reassemble it.

Any questions please ask.

Came out of a long term relationship, wanted to keep my mind occupied. I reckon a fair portion of the endless sphere crowd will be able to relate to that. Never done one of these super modern vector/adaptto builds, so thought I'd keep up with the times. But now that it's done and the financial reality of living alone has sunk in, I can't really retrospectively justify having it around. I hope someone can give her a good home.

Battery is made from Multistar 4s 16000mah bricks. I'm quoted around £110 for a full years insurance.

Good battery choice: little wiring and lightweight.

Nicely done. I love the rear fender. Seems like it was designed there from the get go. Really nice match with the lines of the Vector frame. Congrats on getting it legal. Must have been a lot of work and dedication to details and paperwork. Hats off.

Damn this bike would look good in my living room. I would put the license plate in the battery box and ride it like any e-bikes. If pulled over by the cops for speeding I would just show them the plate and tell em it fell off while riding. That way I could still enjoy all kinds of shortcuts, bike lanes, park it anywhere and avoid all taxation.

Warrah, just hope you get a sale and I'm sure that you have spent more than you are asking. I would like to register mine in Western Australia and that's the plan. Good too see registed ebikes but it's a money pit so it's good to see that you have succeeded. So hope to see that you have a sale.

is that a 10kw controller on a 6kw cromo? What version hub is it? How high have you managed to run it? How many miles do you get in range. Would you sell it without batteries as the 20ah multistars are looking good right now. Cheers

Thats right, controller is overpowered for the motor. But there is quite a price jump to get to 10kw continuous hub motors. Course the cromos can take over 5kw for a while, infact to get up to 60mph you need to put approx 6.5kw into it. Can do that for 10 minutes before the temperatures climb too high.

Sorry, im not sure what you are asking RE miles and range. Can you rephrase? If you are asking about the range of the bike, it all depends what speed you go. Its best to work it out based on the speed you intend to go at and the wh of the battery. This link lists the speeds and the watts they require.

http://endless-sphere.com/w/index.php/E ... d_vs_Range

I would be willing to sell it without the batteries for £200 less.

ok cheers. just wondered what you personally have attained in range and what the scenario was.

For example I have a 44v 20ah pack that gets me 25 miles at 27mph or a 56v 16ah pack that gets me 21 miles at 30mph all while moderately pedalling. I did 70 miles once but 15mph is very boring he he.

Does it have a heat sensor and automatically ramp down?

Id love to buy it then put a monster hub on and fill it with multistar 20ah's. I am in the middle of moving house so I do have the money just not really the time or space right now dammit. Well done on passing the test thing though.

Are you anything to do with pagan or blaxstar?

Oh right sorry yeh, ive got about 32 miles out of it at 30mph. Its a challenge not opening the throttle for more speed.

It has a heat sensor, and the adaptto automatically regulates the amps if the temps go too high.

If you dont have the time or space right now, dont worry, nobody seems to want it, it will still be around in the future. Depending on what you want to do with it we can do a deal... for example, most people have messaged me asking me if i'd remove the road legal stuff, so i'd knock £200 off if you wanted it non road legal. Another £250 off if you dont want the motor.

I think people definitely want it judging by ebay watchers I guess its just a bit unknown. I love quirky stuff like chinese quads and the thought of pedalling over 30 mph legally is cool.

Ideally Id like a 10kw capable hub as I need 60 mph for 30mins not the 10ish this can do before starting to heating up. Il check back if I buy another house in the UK. Cheers

Hopefully it is just wariness of an unknown brand. Could be that people who want an ebike want it precisely so they dont have to go through the ball ache of being road legal, and correspondingly, people willing to go through the ball ache of being road legal arent then interested in an ebike. Hoping to make an eccentric who sits somewhere inbetween very happy.

Yeah its just hard to determine somethings value if you cant google its original cost. How much did you get then :) Is it being kept road legal?

Hi, Appreciate you've sold this, but curious about how you found the approval process in the UK. I'm UK based and just started scoping out a Vector build with intention of making "Moped Road legal" How did you find the process and what pitfalls did you come by ??

Cheers, MK
