Freerchobby MP15470 brushless motor and 36 inch prop

Post by carbon dragon » Sep 23 2020 8:55am

Model MP15470 80 KV Max power 30 KW Max amp 300A. Includes 36 inch carbon propeller.
Ran a total of about 1 minute before I managed to let the factory installed smoke out of the controller. The controller is a SHENZHEN Flier-120V-450A that is bad but I'll include and could probably be repaired for less than the cost of a new one.
$380.00 plus shipping. Located in the US

Have you thought of using a PMAC motor such as the Emrax 188?

Hi, very interesting engine.
But then how did the story end up ?
Did you solve the controller problem ?
I hope you found the right solution.
I would love to use that motor on a light motorcycle but I can't figure out how much power it can handle.
I would be grateful if you would share this experience of yours.
Best regards
