[SOLD!]: DIY E-Skateboard - COMPLETE - $375

Hello fellow e-transportation fans,

I must sell my DIY electric skateboard I built a year or two ago. Several months after completing my board, I broke my ankle and had to have reconstructive surgery last year. The accident was totally unrelated to the board, I promise (It happened at a ski resort in colorado if you're curious...). Sad to say that my skateboard riding days are behind me. But my loss is your gain. Please see below for a description, pics and part list and cost estimate. It's still in great shape and a great deal. I haven't ridden it in months and know some one out there can enjoy this monster as much as I did. This is not a toy, and quite dangerous.

- Range: 5-6 miles for me riding on the hilly, rough, traffic dense town of Washington DC)
- Max speed: I took it up to about 17mph myself, but too scared to go much faster.
- The ESC and motor do allow for e-braking, which is absolutely an awesome feature.

I built this myself using the basic electricskateboard.com kit. I chose quality parts, including the most important part, the motor (Turnigy Aerodrive Sk3 6354 215kv brushless outrunner). I chose a motor that was on the higher end for torque and it pays off! It has some plenty of power to push an average sized adult up a hill at a solid clip. This is not a toy. This thing is fast, dangerous, and a hell of a lot of fun.

Please see below for a list of parts and what I paid. This is a complete board, and includes other accessories like the controller I was working on, wire harnesses (custom soldered), charger, discharger, 1 batter alarm, 1 parallel charging board, ESC programming card. I will also include the LIPO batteries I've been using , but will obviously not ship them!

Let me know if you're interested or send me an offer!

Thanks!
Dan

You may want to edit your original post and include your asking price in there.

Yes indeed it looks like a ton of fun  How much do you think USA shipping would be?

Thanks, guys! Im not sure how much shipping would be, but as Im in the USA too (Washington DC) I would imagine maybe $10-15? I would breakdown the board and pack it myself, so costs would simply be freight from USPS.
