Built this battery from Battery Block. Panasonic/Sanyo NCR 18650GA batteries. Currently configured for 52v systems, but it can be rebuilt for 72v easily. I have never used it for anything other than bench testing a Tangent Ascent.

Hi I'm not totally clear what your capacity is. Is this a 52V, i.e, 14S battery pack with 17.5Ah? If I'm not mistaken that is 14*5 = 70 cells. But you said 100 cells, so maybe I am confused.

Thanks!

Also, can you list what the current capacity is on this battery bloc config? It's interesting, looks like a good implementation of such a system, though nominally I find such systems really shady compared to welding :).

Hi Kin,

I am not exactly sure. I bought this and configured it according to Battery Blocs calculator which is where I go the specs.

There are clearly 10 subgroups each of 10 cells.

The left-hand unit is configured 12s5p, and the right 8s5p.

Yes, I originally intended it to be 72v for the Tangent Ascent using the Phaserunner. Then I bought a 52v controller and reconfigured it....then sold it all. Needed the money - going through the big D.
