I'm finally ready to part with my last 3 triangle cases that I made some years back. The frame is machine bent and powder coated aluminum. The covers are textured ABS with a layer of expanded PVC sheeting glued inside that serves for positioning/alignment. The interior width between covers is 2.75". Included is an XLR charge port.
The frames are drilled to mount to the bottle cage bosses along the bottom leg as well as two points along the upper case that requires drilling into the underside of the top tube of your frame with an angle drill (due to the tight spacing). What IS NOT INCLUDED are the 3 dowels required to affix the covers to each other. I always wanted to have some aluminum dowels drilled and tapped but never got past using hardwood dowels and stainless screws, which work just fine. Sometimes you just gotta git 'er done!
The largest capacity I achieved was 48Vx10AH using 13 Tenergy #30123 LiPo cells. I haven't been keeping up with battery options, so I can't say whether that can be topped yet with another type of cells.
The photos show 1 of the cases that was used as a guide for trimming all the covers, and its been scraped a bit accordingly and will require painting. The other 2 frames are in immaculate condition as are all the covers. Pricing including shipping is as follows:
1 scraped frame - $110
2 perfect frames - $130 each
