Which side do you have?
Get a Cycle Analyst and a Multimeter, you're still a noob if you don't have at least one of each.

Cassette side. The cassette screws onto that cover

It's the new cassette version? or the old freewheel version?

Cassette side. The cassette screws onto that cover
If it screws on, it's not a cassette but a freewheel. It's a minor distinction but it will make all the difference in who can use it.

I'd like it but unsure how to proceed, I'm in the UK ?.
