I know a guy who has a pedicab with a 36 volt, 750 Bafang mid-drive. He blew the crank freewheel, after several months. So it needs this:

He is replacing it with a 1500 watt planetary geared Cyclone kit. He is looking for a buyer for his Bafang setup.
It comes with a charger, and two small shark pack batteries. No label on the batteries, so not sure of the Wh, but can't be over 350 Wh each.
Anybody interested?

What kind of price? I have a coworker that's kind of considering adding some sort of power assist to his bike, but hasn't decided what (or if) he's going to do.
If it's cheap enough I could even use it to build an experimental middrive setup for the SB Cruiser trike, or Crazybike2. (would take some reworking of the pedal drivetrain first).

I was hoping somebody would make an offer. Through Luna or EM3ev the mid-drive and two small packs go for over a grand, plus shipping. I don't have a clue what this guy considers reasonable. I won't be offended one way or another.

I wouldn't offer much since it could be on it's last leg (or should I say gear tooth?) due to how it's obviously been under abuse.

Well, I don't have much to offer...especially for an experiment. I don't really need batteries (and used ones are worthless without known-method testing results, and info on how they've been used), so about the best I'd offer myself is $100 including shipping for the BBS02 (without batteries, unless he just wants them out of the way). Would guess that's not enough to interest him.

And I would guess that a couple hundred is the most the guy at work could afford. Where I work they dont' pay much or give enough hours. :/ (otherwise he'd have a car)
