Zac Brown Band featuring Chris Cornell - Heavy is the head

It sounds more like Chris Cornell then Zac Brown Band, I like both bands.

Colder Weather

Gwen is hot!!! I've always liked her, sure she has a flat chest, but her style and personality just rock!
Gwen Stefani Early Winter

Cool

Hoobastank - The Reason

Rumer is hot also, chunkier, but hot!

Gwen and Hoobastank/Incubus are good- I'll have to check out Rumer and Zac Brown, so far I only listened to 'fleetwood mac- rumours' CLASSIC
rumours.jpg
and 'Zakk Wylde' YEAH

Lately, I've been utilizing the olde inter to the net of music radio. Idobi is pretty cool. I don't know what the future holds, so I am slow to accept anything other than my offline library as a regular reliable 'source', but 20k+ songs start to seem stagnant when there's so much more.

Anyway, Idobi is cool, but I don't know wth the genre is (main channel). It isn't from the 90's as far as I know- it's newer? http://idobi.com/

I heard this one earlier,

an interesting mix into their usual genre on the main channel- vocals on the song remind me of mudvayne a little-

Muvayne doing 'The Police' Check em out if you hadn't heard them.

Also 'world so cold' 'happy' 'forget to remember' 'fall into sleep'

Rumer is good, check her out.

Found Joe Bonamassa on Youtube yesterday, excellent guitarist. Good blues.

Of course cant beat the classic

(May remind some of raving daze (sp?)

Beth Hart ... If Robert Plant and Janis Joplin had a love child she would probably sound like Beth.

May not be entirely suitable for work...

Grace Potter ... Amazing voice, stage presence and energy, not bad to look at either.

The Hip is good, I like Gord Downies eccentricism and his rambling on of lyrics. Sometimes his songs talk about injustice, or great hockey players or native concerns. I particularly like one of his rants/ramblings of a particular song. I used to listen to it all the time, forget the tune off hand.

Here it is

I remember my dad listening to opera occasionally as a kid

Part the way into the song, I think this is the closest I'll get to opera, and it seems soo much better

Turn on surround, turn it up

utube compared to even a 256k mp3 does kinda suck, so maybe don't turn it up that loud :D

Audioslave: wide awake
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vR1-PyXHfI

This one's been bouncing around for a few days in my head- since first watching the entire 'show' of dexter. Dam what a disturbing show, I knew it would be a hard one to take. After 90+ hours anybody would get wrapped up in one or more characters. The writers let us down, but imo it was obvious to be an intended shakespeare-like tragedy. It's just there was room for improvement imo.

Pretty good Zeppelin cover by Tool-

No Quarter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNUq-JSXvS4

Walking side by side with death, The devil mocks their every step
The snow drives back the foot that's slow, The dogs of doom are howling more
They carry news that must get through, To build a dream for me and you

They choose the path where no-one goes.

They hold no quarter. They ask no quarter.

John Butler Trio - Ocean

Smooth Criminal M.Jackson -like never seen before.

It was of course a suggestion, but I believe in the op it says about just putting links /art vs always embedding everything. Takes a while extra to load pages, is harder to 'open in new tab' for background listening, and videos weren't even the primary focus. Also in the op is link for a music video thread.

Alice In Chains - Stone
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KmYFY5oOvM

There's only a few artists I don't really have a favorite song and just love the entire albums, all of them. . .
But my two fav albums:

If they're not niche enough, or if Alice is too heavy, how bout:

*Oops* I guess 46million plays isn't that niche

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=675355&content=music
that is listenable, though still in it's experimental stages. ;)

Oddly, some show that they have charted in the top 100 on Soundclick. :?

I fail at dancing, rhythm-brain-limb function is severely impaired, but both of these can get your old man dance going.

Most on here seem to be Rock, these are a few of my past sweet spots.

Then some random Electro. The Charlie Chaplin speech is pretty awsome.

So I asked my grandkids what they were listening to...`

I had no clue there were so many cute Japanese muppets cranking out some pretty decent metal..

And a Saudi death metal band, they record and perform in secret because if they get caught by the government they are liable to be beheaded as apostates.

Now that's some serious death metal!

Best performance I have seen in a while, Samantha Fish covers Screamin Jay Hawkins' I Put A Spell On You... A lot of pickers play the blues, Samantha feels them.
