New low cost LiPo e-bike

yep, o seer with 20/20 fission.

What a value, though, eh? A WE brushed front hub motor.
Known-good

A cheap bike---we know what it is
a battery: better than SLA for sure

The battery is not enough capacity for hard running...neither would 3x12/12 SLA.

Yet, compare the weight differential:
5lbs for the lipo pack vs. 28lbs of lead.
Compare costs of lipo packs: 8ah is worth several hundred dollars today.

Seems like a fine value for an entry level lead-less bike.
Seems like it will want another pack in parallel for really competent running in hilly areas.

I like brushed motors still because they're so simple and cheap for moderate duty. They pull better at low rpm and do not groan, etc.
And the penalty in efficiency is small.

These two bullet points gave it away for me:

# Please don't discharging the battery pack below 25V(2.5V/cell), that's mean .Deep discharging may damage Li-Ion battery pack or protection circuit will disconnect discharging. Charging battery immediatelt every time it is discharged.
# Please use only our Smart Uuniversal Li-Ion Charger to charge the battery pack. Please don't use other brand charger.

:eek: Ah, yes! That's how I knew! By Powerizer's Chinese accented English;
I know it by heart.

I'll point John S. and Powerizer to read this thread.....(snip!)

Hello Reid,

VictoriZ has no relationship to us.
Please do not assoicate them with us!

Matter of fact many of our competitors ex: http://www.all-battery.com copy our content and picture to use it.
I am sure VictoriZ does the same as well.

Ah, you mean that VictoriZ is not in any way associated with you guys?
Some of the text is a direct lift from your pages.

Agreed: the battery described has no management and could become a firebomb in the hands of an ignorant user.

Let me know if BS has no connection with Victoriz and that bike offering?
Because I will want to correct the thread so not to make wrong impressions.

True, it's a theft of BatterySpace's texts, is all.

This is the page for their battery chargers.
They don't even offer chargers for that bike pack.

It would appear that if you order this now-not-so wonderful value of LiPo ebike,
you will get something not only different than the illustration suggests,
but maybe an extremely poor job in all details, for those people are
without principles.

Apologies tendered to BatterySpace, John S. and to Powerizer.

It was an inescapable conclusion we made.
We are glad to know better now.
