Kuberg Free Rider

Are standard motor cycle/dirt bike/ go karts sprockets bolt circle diametre compatible with this bikes rear wheel hub and motor shaft front sprocket when they require replacing when teeth become worn? If not i would be concerned that spare sprockets might not be availible to buy in 5-10 years

lots of companies make sprockets for aftermarket (if the manufacturer does not have stock)
so this should never be a problem to get a replacement sprocket (made) if needed..
just check with rebelgears.com etc.. if / when you may need a new rear sprocket..

in 5-10years the bikes we ride may be much different with continued ev evolution and product developments..
but until then looks like the manufacturer is offering parts.. (as well as aftermarket manufacturers)

You can always add a sprocket carrier like most Karts would run. The Oset equivalent is amazing, just bolts to a 6 bolt ISO pattern and will accept all 219 kart sprockets, gives huge flexibility in gearing.

That link doesn't work for me. I ordered some sprockets from Kuberg about 2 years ago and some I ordered were supposed to be 6 bolt iso and some thread on. They all came in thread on and they never sent the 6 bolt. I need a source for a 219 80t 6 bolt iso sprocket. Anyone got a link?

Thanks in advance

oset parts has an 82t 6bolt rear sprocket..
also the cart sprocket carrier Sean mentioned..

Thanks for the link those look like they will work for me, Are they 219 chain I just see metric sizes?

edit: actually that sprocket carrier on the last page looks sick. I will get one of those and then a regular cart sprocket.

thats brilliant!

How did you find it in an enduro race? you fix up a front mudguard?

Haha thanks a lot for the pictures. Ask and I shall receive! Looks like a ton of muddy fun

Were those bikes lapping you in that pic?

Its not me on the pics. It is this guy https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008367151551&fref=ts
He was actually among the first riders in that corner after start! Quite unbeliavable.
Overall he ended up in the middle among all these racing dirt bikes.
More over the guy is basically riding one handed because of his old unhealed injury. His tendons on one of his hands were cut off.
I was told riding on Freerider actually helps to rehab it :).

I saw a video from the race and I could not recognize which one is the Freerider. All the bikes looked same.

Wow that is impressive. I am now regretting not getting one of these. I had a kickstarter down payment, but they took way too long for my impatient ass so I asked for a refund.

Even thought I would look goofy riding that since im so tall I would love to beat on a bike and hit jumps like that without fear of my batteries falling out LOL

I was at local pit bike race today. There were kids on Kuberg arena cross racer bikes there and three guys came with their Freeriders and raced in electric class. I compared the results and to my big suprise the best freerider lap time were 2 second better than best time in Elite class!
will try to post some photos and videos.

I got 2 Free Riders from the Kickstarter. One only works in Novice mode but the other one is awesome. Kuberg is sending a technician to my house today to update the controller on both. This was suppose to happen in May but Texas was having some major flooding then and the visit was postponed. Crossing my fingers it happens today.

Kuberg will ship wifi dongles that will worth with their bikes and can be controlled from your phone. From there you can update the controller too.

Here is the video from last week race

Michal from Czechoslovakia flew in and came to my house and changed out the controllers. I don't know what kind or size. Michal did not speak English.

Talk about customer service. Kuberg rocks!
